Financial summary of our allotment year

In November 2010 we acquired our 1st allotment plot. We got ourselves a month by month allotment book and began planning what to do first.

15th November we turned over half the plot. It had been rotovated by the kind people at the allotment, however the weeds were pushing through. I’d read about the benefits of turning the soil over roughly during the winter to help prevent damage or deterioration to the topsoil. Finished this the next day. Quite a lot of work, but worth it.
